Five Star Friday's Edition #59
I have no fancy quotations about writing with which to start off this week's Five Star Friday roundup of good weblog posts, just a note of appreciation.I don't know if it's the nice weather or my becoming a more positive person or the lack of oxygen to my brain following my workout with a Jillian Michaels DVD, but spending this morning reading through all of this week's submissions just made me feel so pleased. To everyone who takes the time to write excellent weblog content and everyone who takes the time to let us all know about it, THANK YOU.
Now go read these posts, comment to let the authors know they rock, and then take your weekend by storm!

I liked the 'Maurice' story.
I really like the way it shows how other people can stop you short with their basic humanness. It can bring you back to yourself. I was in a parking lot after a death in my family and a guy came up and needed money and I was annoyed--and this is weird but he showed me this horrible, horrible thing growing out of his stomach. I don't know. That's not quite as touching as Maurice. But I was touched in a bizarre way...It snapped me out of this feeling of anger and despair back into a more human place. Cant' really explain it. Anyway, good story. Everyone read 'Maurice.' chicu on June 19, 2009 1:53 PM thanks a lot! that's what i call a lovely surprise, and lots of good reading for the weekendwheelsonthebus on June 19, 2009 2:38 PM Thanks so much!!Rikkij on June 19, 2009 5:22 PM Thank you so much for the link.
