Five Star Friday's Edition #74

It seems to me that those songs that have been any good, I have nothing much to do with the writing of them. The words have just crawled down my sleeve and come out on the page.

   — Joan Baez

Now that summer is officially over — we had our first snowfall last night in my neck of the woods, grrrr — it seems like everyone has settled back into writing and reading. The nominations for this week's Five Star Friday roundup poured in without much nudging from me, and, on behalf of all the writers represented below, I would like to thank all of you readers who sent in urls to these excellent weblog posts.

If you don't see yourself in the roundup of entries below, please share your writing with a url to your own weblog entries in the comments here. I'd love to know who is dropping in to Five Star Friday and what you're writing about!

Happy Friday!

Yeah! I'm so glad Kate's "Walk to Remember" was honored. We've been elbow deep in Swine Flu this week, but now everyone is back at school/work, so I can get down to some serious blog reading! :) Off to the links...

    Thank you!

Whoring myself since I made someone cry today. Ok, she says "almost", but I think that's crap. :P

I love that someone is taking the time to put all the good ones in one spot so I don't have to skim through "Johnny has a runny nose again today" and "I had tuna for lunch" blogs looking for the good stuff.

I feel like a dork adding my URL on here. I wish someone else was doing it. But here it is.

Ahoy. And thanks yet again for the attention-getting.

Thank you. It almost feels blasphemous including me in the same selection as people who write about children or those who have a PhD.
